“QueenAnne Capital Management Limited was established on July 1, 2016, and started employment placement business from October 1, 2017 with the license registered to Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare in Japan.”

The company name “QueenAnne” is derived from Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, Washington State, USA.
The view seen from Kelly Park in QueenAnne hill can overlook Seattle area by 180 degrees. It should be associated with our unique recruiting philosophy – our broad and long-term perspective of bespoke career development for each individual.

The founder, Yuichiro Tanaka, studied in Seattle during IT bubble period around 2000, intracting with not only international students but also start-up individual and dispatched employees from large enterprise companies such as
Microsoft or Amazon at that time (about 20 years later – now these enterprises are recognized broadly as AGFA.)
The experience at overseas study generated and enhanced Tanaka’s entrepreneurship.

From his wide range of administrative responsibilities at several Japanese and global asset management companies, especially from experience of recruiting activities called Talent Acquisition in human resources department, Tanaka felt he is willing to pursue matching interests between employers and employees.

In the past, Human Resources used to be abbreviated as HR, and has gradually changed Human Capital Management (HCM). Tanaka quoted the word as a part of the legal entity name.

The Company intends to differentiate itself from other recruiting companies, with the intention of “positioning recruiting” rather than “background industry hiring” which is current mainstream of Japanese typical hiring. For example, Investment management companies seeks candidates those who have investment management background, as well as brokerage firms seek for the security or broker-dealer background candidates, and banking industry and insurance industry seek candidates those who have experience at the same “industry type” respectively. We will strive to maximize interests of both client companies and candidates based on the premise that mutual benefit will be matched between parties in case candidates who have strong experience or particular qualification even though the background industry are not relevant to client companies. We are confident that there will be a space for improvement in terms of efficiency of recruitment.

In the same way that Amazon used to be called category-killer at the time in 2000, in order for our company to become a category-killer beyond the barriers of industry adoption in employment placement business, we are willing to continue devoting to employment placement business to pursue consensus from both parties and maximization of their profits.
